Frustrated parents who:
- had tried all the weight loss BS
- were given a diagnosis but no instructions after that,
- were just told to cut back on portions
kept asking me,
"Where is Weight Loss 101?"
You're in the right place to get answers and help for you, your kids, your whole family.
Lesson number 1:
It's not about the weight!
In fact, as long as we focus on weight loss as a goal for our kids,
we are setting ourselves & our kids up for failure.
Social media, folks who are bought-in on diet culture (you know, "weight = health") and weight-focused programs aren't speaking this truth.
And it's why we continue to struggle at home.
Learn what really works
to help yourself and your kids
build stronger relationships with
food, body, self
that last a lifetime.
In this self-paced mini-course, you will discover answers to:
- Where do I start?
- Why is my child overweight?
- Is my child an emotional eater?
- How can I get my kid to exercise more?
- Why is my child always hungry?
- How do I help my child when I've struggled with my own weight?
- How do I help when I've never had weight issues?
- and so much more...
No rushing or traffic on the way to an appointment, no waiting for referrals, and no using someone-else's meal-plan.

and what to do instead. Today.
Who is Wendy Schofer, MD?
Please, here you can call me Wendy. A few years ago, I grew frustrated that despite over 20 years of loving, treating and connecting with families as a pediatrician, I wasn't helping families who were struggling with increasing weight in a meaningful way.
The focus on the individual child left parents with food fights, diet-mentality and worries about their children's health. Parents had doubts that their kids could break a pattern that they had lived themselves.
I realized that the medical approach to weight isn't cutting it for many families, including my own. I became certified as a Life, Weight & Well-being Coach, and created a new path - which changed the conversations I share with parents around family weight, nutrition and health.
My relationship with my own family, food and health changed, and opened doors to understand the challenges that other parents were facing. Now I work with whole families to get beyond the focus upon weight and create healthier relationships with food, body and family, at every weight.
